Place:
Prague Towers

Date:
12. 12. 2015

Suitable for:
Children’s playroom is primarily suitable for families, kindergartens and primary schools

The playroom is open during the museum opening hours, daily except Mondays from 9 am to 6 pm, on Saturdays from 9 am to 9 pm.

The area is designed as an interior of a house from the Middle Ages, i.e. Gothic era, located in Prague between the 14th and 15th centuries. The house consists of the following main rooms: hall, main room, kitchen and chamber. In addition, children will find a garderobe – medieval toilet.

Each part is a play zone which provides various activities that are loosely associated with the housing and life in a medieval city. Children are allowed to touch and try everything. Through accomplishing various tasks, they will learn about the life in the Middle Ages.

In the mornings, special pre-booked programs for kindergarten and primary school children take place. At other times, the playroom is open for museum visitors, mainly families with children.

During the programs, the public access to the playroom is limited.
