House at the Golden Ring
from 13. 12. 2016
daily except Mondays 9 a.m.–8 p.m.
The children's museum is relocated to new premises on the 2nd floor of the House at the Golden Ring.
As part of the celebration of the 700th anniversary of the birth of Charles IV, the City of Prague Museum opens a new permanent exhibition which focuses on Prague urbanism and its changes in the 14th century.
The House at the Golden Ring, which is the exhibition venue, keeps even the youngest visitors amused. The children’s museum on the ground floor is designed as a medieval city. The modern space of the museum is made of small boxes and little houses in which the children can try out some activities of medieval everyday life. The interactive concept of the museum will help children learn and practice their skills. They will have a chance to touch various fabrics and objects, and also take a rest when browsing through the new educational book In the Footsteps of Charles IV.
