In 2017 we celebrate the 180th anniversary of the completion of Langweil’s Model, a unique paper model of Prague, which is displayed in the main building of the City of Prague Museum. Antonín Langweil, the creator of this piece of art, died in 1837.

As part of this celebration, the City of Prague Museum will offer free admission to the museum’s main building at Florence. Visitors will be able to attend an interesting programme dedicated to the famous model of Prague. In addition to special souvenirs, interactive games will be prepared, not only for families with children.

At 7 p.m., the Prague Museum Night with a rich programme will begin and four buildings of the City of Prague Museum will be open:

  • Main building
  • Podskalí Customs House at Výtoň
  • Old Town Bridge Tower
  • Ctěnice Chateau
