Dear visitors to the Ctěnice Chateau compound,

We would like to inform you that the current user of the hotel and restaurant has no legal right to run these buildings and legal action has already been taken against him. For this reason as well as because of the long-term payment default by the hotel operator, the hotel and restaurant were disconnected from water and gas supplies on 19 August 2019.

The City of Prague Museum bears no responsibility for the financial and other commitments of the hotel operator in relation to his hotel and restaurant clients. The City of Prague Museum apologises for the inconvenience during your visit to the compound. We believe that our permanent and temporary exhibitions and the chateau park will compensate this discomfort.

The Ctěnice Horse Riding Club and the Garden Centre have not been affected by this situation and are fully functioning.

PhDr. Zuzana Strnadová, Director
