The City Prague Museum has joined the list of Human friendly places. The ground floor of our museum is now wheelchair accessible and our personnel was trained, so that they are able to communicate professionally with patients with disabilities and also seniors. They will be able to assess the building accessibility layout and equipment as well.

The certificate is provided by Czech Red Cross office, who enlisted our museum as another Human friendly place with a safe access for people with disadvantaged.

The entrance is from back door from Na Poříčí 52 Street across from the main bus station Florenc.

Beginning August 19, 2015, visitors can rent these audio guides at the following City of Prague Museum locations: the Old Town Bridge Tower and the Lesser Town Bridge Tower.

The rental fee is CZK 100 and a refundable deposit of CZK 500 is required.

The audio tour lasts about 1,5 hours and is available in Czech, English, German, French, and Italian.

Visitors will receive a map of Charles Bridge with a numbered list of statues. The numbers correspond to the locations of the statues and the two bridge towers on the map, allowing the visitors to stop whenever they wish and listen to the interesting history of the selected sight. Compared to the “real” tour guide, visitors can listen only to what they find interesting and in their own pace! Audio guides can be returned at either of the two towers which means there is no need to go back to the tower of rental but visitors can just walk across the bridge, or, in case of bad weather, even listen to the entire history of Charles Bridge from a restaurant.
